Cisco Mini Usb Console Cable Driver
I just purchased a USB to Mini-USB console cable to use with the 2960s switches we just bought. I download the current(?) driver Ver. 3.1 loaded it on my Win 7 64-bit. The blue mini-USB console cable that is included with the IR829 (and other 800 series devices) connects the mini-USB console port, under the screwed down. Buy Console Cabl 6ft W/ Usb Type a & Mini-B - CAB-CONSOLE. Need drivers for this cable to work with the CISCO. Adobe Photoshop Portable Cs5 Cnet. USB= USB cable - 4 pin USB Type A (M) - mini.
I noticed there's a mini USB port on our C3750X switch labelled as 'Console'. I used my Samsung (& Nokia's as well) phone's mini USB cable to plug into this port on the switch with the other end of the USB cable plugged into my Win XP SP3 laptop Windows reported Cisco USB/serial cable detected & prompted to install the driver.
My laptop is connected to the internet but after searching for a while, it could not find/install any driver. Tally Erp 9 Full Version. Without any driver installed, I got a blank screen when I used a terminal emulation software (putty) to connect to Com3: Typing 'at' or 'atdt' returns OK but I don't get the usual Cisco IOS or CatOS response. Where can I get this driver or what do I need to do to be able to console into the switch using the mini USB console port?
