Hi, I've previously had Superbike 2001 on my computer, with a patch for 'no CD' and it ran fine. Now I go to start the game and it freezes up. Alt,Control,Delete won't even get me out of it, the computer has to be shut down and re-booted up.

Sorry about this, but I'm not exactly sure when it 'died' the first time - I think, it may have been after I installed another game and it needed an earlier version of Direct-X, which I stupidly went ahead and installed. Trouble was, we already had a later version - Direct-X 9.0b. We've since un-installed the game as best as we could, using the un-install, and have re-installed the it several times now. It still keeps freezing! You can get into the game, but with no sound, and then, when it has loaded the first race track, you see your motor cycle & rider ready to go, but then our computer/game just freezes.

You can't do a thing. My son has gone into the registry and removed any file with the title Superbike 2001 or sbk2001.
